About Lakeside Retreats

Tom and Stephen “Soup” Williamson started Lakeside Retreats because they wanted to share the family land and offer others a place to spread out and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer. If you’ve always wanted a place on a lake to get away to, this is the spot for you.

When you rent the entire property, you get:

  • 6 Yurts and a Tiny House set up for sleeping and accommodations.

  • A Larger Yurt for Gathering and Common Space.

  • 7 bathrooms and 6 showers.

  • 12 RV hookups with 30 amp power. There is no water hookups or dump stations on site.

  • Wi-Fi access

  • 400 acres of land including a serene private lake stocked with fish and perfect for swimming.

  • A dock and use of 5 boats.

  • 2 outdoor gazebos with fans and 2 ice makers.

  • Use of the Stage next to the lake.

  • Large Barrel Sauna.

  • 9-hole Disc Golf Course that wraps completely around the lake.

  • Access to the 400 acre Williamson Preserve run by Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) with over 15 miles of biking and hiking trails - Right next door to Lakeside Retreats. The Preserve also borders the Neuse River Greenway near the Wake/Johnston county line.

Package Prices vary based on: type of event, number of people attending, days on the property, and accommodations used. Whether you need the entire property for 400 people over the weekend, or just want to rent the stage and the large yurt for your family one afternoon, we’ll work with you to plan the perfect celebration.

  • Yurt 1 - 24’ King bed, Futon

  • Yurt 2 - 20’ Bunk bed (Queen Bottom, Full Top), Futon

  • Yurt 3 - 20’ Bunk bed (Queen Bottom, Full Top), Futon

  • Yurt 4 - 20’ Bunk bed, (Queen Bottom, Queen Top), Futon

  • Yurt 5 - 20’ Bunk bed, (Queen Bottom, Full Top), Futon

  • Yurt 6 - 20’ Queen bed, Futon

  • Yurt 7 - 30’ NO Beds, 2 Couches, Full Fridge, Tables and Chairs

  • Tiny House – Two loft beds, Futon

    • Tiny House also has Indoor Bathroom and Kitchenette

  • 12 RV Hookups with 30 amp power (No Water or Dump Stations)

  • Plenty of Space for Tent Camping on the Lake or in a Large Field
